The history of Purofirst began in July 1994, when we were founded. Purofirst is a full-service, single-source provider of emergency and repair/construction services. Now the largest franchisee in the PuroSystems network, Purofirst operates primarily within a 75-mile radius from its Rockville, MD headquarters.
Because of its concentrated coverage of metropolitan Washington and affiliation with PuroSystems, Purofirst can scale to meet challenges in other geographical territories.
Purofirst has divisions specializing in Fire Damage/Smoke clean up (structure and contents) and pack-outs when needed; Water Damage & Mitigation (dry down of structure and contents; including sewer back-ups and trauma clean up); Mold Remediation; Board-ups; Repairs/Reconstruction; and Infrared Camera Inspections (performed by Building Sciences-certified technicians).
Purofirst predominately serves three markets:
- Insurance Industry Losses (both commercial and residential)
- Homeowners
- Commercial Buildings (property managers, engineers, and owners)
- New Home Builders
