Community Associations Institute (CAI)

Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations. For more than 30 years, CAI has been the leader in providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and the professionals who support them. Our members include community association volunteer leaders, professional managers, community management firms, and other professionals and companies that provide products and services to associations.

Working closely with more than 50 state, regional and local chapters nationwide, we bring together experts to provide the latest information on community association management and governance. Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC)

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has served as the Industry Guardian for the cleaning, inspection and restoration service industries for more than 30 years. As a non-profit certification organization, the IICRC helps ensure that you have access to trusted and trained cleaning professionals by establishing and monitoring certification programs and standards for these industries.

To qualify for IICRC-Certified Firm status businesses must demonstrate proof of insurance, maintain a written customer complaint policy with documented follow-up and provide ongoing education and training leading to certification for all technicians. IICRC Certified Firms are also required to abide by the IICRC Code of Ethics. Services provided by IICRC–Certified professionals range from flooring inspection and cleaning to mold remediation to water and fire damage restoration.

Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA)

The Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA) is a regional organization of more than 770 members representing the interests of more than 18,000 individuals in the building and development industry operating in Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties in Maryland and in the city of Washington DC. National Association of Power Engineers (NAPE)

Founded in 1882 in Providence, Rhode Island, NAPE is the Oldest Engineering Society of its kind in the United States. For over 120 years NAPE has educated its members, in Chapters across the country, in the field of Power Engineering. N.A.P.E. is dedicated to the Education of Power Engineers. A Power Engineer is a person proficient in converting energy into power.

Educating the Engineer is the primary mission of the National Association of Power Engineers. For example at some of our locations throughout the country we have training labs complete with fixtures wiring, compressor pumps steam fittings, etc to help train the engineer for a career in maintenance and operations management.
