Robert Schattner

President
Robert started the Purofirst business 15 years ago and is responsible for the overall direction and mission of the company. Robert has over 30 years of real estate development/construction experience ranging from the conversion of apartments houses into condominiums to the redevelopment and sale of inner-city properties to the building and selling of speculative homes throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Robert graduated from George Washington University with a BS in Business Administration.

Michael Park

General Manager
Mike has been with Purofirst for over 7 years and is in charge of the daily operations of Purofirst. He has 30+ years of construction experience and over 17 years in the specialized insurance restoration field. Prior to joining Purofirst, Mike served in management roles for Nordic Services for 10 years in Seattle, Washington. Mike is one of two certified Thermographers on staff in Building Sciences.

Rebecca Joyce

Emergency Production Manager
Ms. Joyce heads up Purofirst’s Emergency Response Division with 7 years experience in Disaster Restoration. Ms. Joyce oversees the daily operations of Water Damage Mitigation, Fire Damage Restoration and Trauma Clean-up. Prior to joining Purofirst, Ms. Joyce held a managerial role for Tricon Inc. in England where she is from. Ms. Joyce is IICRC certified in the Disaster Restoration Industry.

Enrique Auza

Mold Production Manager
Mr. Auza brings Purofirst over 7 years of mitigation and remediation experience. Mr. Auza is responsible for Purofirst’s Mold Remediation Division. Prior to joining Purofirst, Mr. Auza served in sales/financial roles in his home country of Bolivia. Mr. Auza is IICRC certified in the restoration industry.

Hunter Pitts

Repair Division Production Manager
Hunter has been in the Residential/Commercial remodeling and New Construction industry for 25 years. Mr. Pitts oversees the daily operations in the Repair division for Purofirst. He has worked with Design Build companies as well as Blake Construction in the Maryland, Metro area.

John Campitell

Warranty Production Manager
John has over 25 years experience in residential/commercial new construction, restoration/remodeling installations and project management. He is responsible for estimating and initial walk assessment, and material procurement. He is also responsible for our developing builder support services program assisting local new home builders with qualified technicians to provide exceptional customer service for their homeowners by completing warranty claims and pre-settlement punch out lists. John came to us after working with industry leaders like Owens Corning, IBM, Marriot and local developer and custom home builder Martens/Edward development company.

Doug Thompson

Director of Commercial Marketing
Responsible for establishing and/or maintaining relations with property management professionals in the Washington DC/Baltimore regions and insurance agents in northern Virginia. B.S. Finance – Virginia Tech, 1981, Virginia P&C License – 1988, ARM (Associate in Risk Management) Designation – Insurance Institute of America, 1992.

Shannon Bae

Accounting Manager
Shannon joined Purofirst in February 2007 and manages all the company accounting functions. She has over 20 years of accounting experience, 10 of which have been spent in the construction industry. Over the years Shannon has performed in a management capacity for several well known companies in the Washington Metropolitan area including Blake Construction, Aspen Publishers and Chapel Valley Landscape Co.
